Narragansett Beach is one of the most reliable surf spots on the New England coast, sitting along Ocean Road in Narragansett, Rhode Island. South-facing and wide open to the Atlantic, it picks up south swells in summer and northeast groundswells from fall through winter. The cam is hosted by Warm Winds, one of the oldest and most respected surf shops in Rhode Island.

About the Break

Narragansett is a beach break with multiple peaks spread along a long stretch of sand. It’s most consistent from September through November when northeast swells light it up, though south-facing exposure means it also sees action in summer months. The break suits a wide range of abilities — it’s beginner-friendly on smaller days and can get punchy and hollow when a solid swell hits. Crowds pick up on weekends but the beach is large enough to spread out.
