Cahoon Hollow Beach sits on the outer arm of Cape Cod in Wellfleet, part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. It’s one of the only genuinely surfable breaks on the Cape, fully exposed to the open Atlantic. The cam is hosted by The Beachcomber, the beach bar and restaurant that sits right on the bluff above the break.

About the Break

Cahoon Hollow is a beach break open to the full swell window of the Atlantic, which makes it one of the more consistent options on Cape Cod. It’s best known for picking up energy from tropical systems and nor’easters alike. Access and parking are limited in summer given the beach’s popularity as a general swim spot, so early mornings or shoulder season tend to be the move for surf.

About the Cam Host

The Beachcomber is a beach bar and restaurant located at 1120 Cahoon Hollow Rd, Wellfleet, MA 02667, right above the break. Their live cam streams on YouTube.
