Westport is Washington’s best-known surf town, a jetty-influenced break at the mouth of Grays Harbor known locally as the Groins and the Cove. The cam is run by the City of Westport.
About the Break
The break at Westport works over sandbars shaped by the jetty system at the harbor entrance, holding size and shape well by Pacific Northwest standards and drawing surfers from across the region on any real swell. It’s exposed to west and northwest groundswell and works nearly year-round.
