St. Augustine Pier (the St. Johns County Ocean and Fishing Pier) is a north Florida landmark and one of the state’s most consistent breaks. The cam is run by Surf Station, a longtime local surf shop.
About the Break
The break at the pier is a sandbar peak on both sides of the pilings, benefiting from north Florida’s steeper, coarser sand shelf that holds shape better than the softer sand found further south. It’s a well-known, competitive lineup that works on east and northeast groundswell.
