About the Break
The inlet’s jetty creates a sandbar-and-jetty break known locally as “First Peak” and “Monster Hole,” holding size and shape better than most Florida spots thanks to deep water close to the jetty. It’s a competitive, well-known lineup that draws surfers from across the state on any real swell.
