Fort Pierce Inlet sits on Florida’s Treasure Coast, where a jettied inlet creates a sandbar break that picks up more consistent size than much of the state’s coastline. The cam is hosted by Visit St. Lucie, the local tourism authority.
About the Break
The inlet break at Fort Pierce works off sandbars that build up around the jetty, and it’s known among Florida surfers for holding swell energy that smaller, more sheltered breaks miss. It’s exposed to east and southeast groundswell and picks up well during tropical systems in the Atlantic hurricane season.
